OBS COUNTDOWN + COUNT UP

Timers with their own OBS source and dock.

Create a matching Browser Source URL and Custom Browser Dock URL. The dock controls the source directly inside OBS without storing timer state on the website.

Timer connection

Use the same channel ID in the source and dock. Generate a private/random ID, then copy both URLs into OBS.

OBS source and dock communicate locally using browser storage/BroadcastChannel on the same origin. TheSQRLs.com does not receive timer commands or state.

OBS setup

Add the Source URL as an OBS Browser Source.
Add the matching Dock URL under Docks → Custom Browser Docks.
Choose duration or date/time targets, then start, pause, reset and edit label/time colors from the dock.
