Hardcore
Challenge

A configurable Helldivers 2 challenge builder that turns your chosen progression, account, planet, gear, mission and multiplayer restrictions into one shareable ruleset with stream-ready tracking tools.

PROJECT OVERVIEW

Build one exact Hardcore run

The Hardcore Challenge keeps the rules, route and stream tools together so everyone can see exactly what counts for the run.

CHALLENGE WORKFLOW

Choose the restrictions, generate the ruleset, share it and track the same run.

The builder lets you define how the run starts, how difficulty moves, what gear can be used, what must be completed before extraction and what multiplayer success requires. The selected rules are turned into a readable challenge that can be shared with a normal URL or displayed through OBS browser sources.

CHOOSEBUILDSHARETRACKSURVIVE
01Configurable

Pick the rules instead of forcing every player into one fixed Hardcore format.

02Shareable

Copy the challenge URL so another browser can open the same selected rules.

03Stream Ready

Dedicated browser-source and dock links keep the current run visible in OBS.

04Trackable

The builder keeps the selected rules, progression structure and live run state together.

RULE BUILDER

Control the parts that make the run Hardcore

Each group changes a different part of the challenge, from the account itself through extraction.

P

Players

Choose Solo or Multiplayer. Solo starts on Tutorial while Multiplayer starts on Trivial.

Run Direction

Climb normally toward Super Helldive or reverse the route and work downward.

A

Account Start

Use a normal account or require a true fresh account with no existing progression, with an optional named-Helldiver rule.

MAP

Planet / Faction

Leave the Galactic War map open, lock the current life to one faction, or lock it to one planet.

G

Gear Rules

Set Primary, Secondary, Throwable, Armor, Stratagems and Booster independently to Any, Random or Locked, with quick presets for all gear.

RND

Random Frequency

When gear is randomized, decide whether the selected gear rerolls per Mission, per Difficulty or per Life.

OBJ

Mission Completion

Require only the main objective, all primary and secondary missions, or a full clear including enemy outposts.

EXT

Extraction

For multiplayer runs, make extraction optional, require at least one survivor, or require everyone to extract.

PROGRESSION

The difficulty ladder becomes the run

Hardcore uses a defined operation and mission structure so progress can be tracked consistently from the opening difficulty through the finish.

RUN STRUCTURE

Tutorial through Super Helldive, with mission numbering tied to each difficulty.

The normal climb begins at Tutorial for Solo or Trivial for Multiplayer and works toward Super Helldive. Operation and mission numbers make the current position clear, including longer multi-mission difficulties later in the run. Reverse mode flips the direction without changing the selected rule system.

01Operation Numbering

The first number identifies the difficulty's operation and the second identifies the mission inside it.

02Death Matters

The active rules determine how failure affects the run instead of treating every mission as an isolated attempt.

03Visible Route

The current run summary keeps the selected direction and reset behavior visible while building the challenge.

04Clear Victory

In the normal route, completing the Super Helldive operation without violating the selected rules finishes the challenge.

SHARING & OBS

One ruleset, several ways to use it

The builder creates links for players and stream layouts without making you recreate the challenge in separate tools.

URL

Challenge URL

Copy a normal challenge link that opens the selected Hardcore rules in another browser.

OBS

Browser Source

Generate a stream-facing browser-source URL for the current Hardcore rules and live tracking display.

S

Simple Overlay

Use the simplified browser source when the stream only needs a cleaner, reduced presentation.

D

OBS Dock

Open the dedicated dock URL so Hardcore controls and run information can stay inside the OBS workspace.

PRE

Overlay Preview

Preview both the normal and simple overlays before adding them to the live scene.

RUN

Live Tracking

The stream tools use the same selected challenge instead of maintaining a separate handwritten version of the rules.

RUN SAVING

Local first, with optional account backup

The challenge can be used without an account. Account Cloud Save is an optional backup path for the ruleset and available live tracker data.

SAVE MODEL

The browser remains the active working copy.

Your local Hardcore state and challenge URL remain the active version used by the tool. Signed-in users can separately save a backup to their TheSQRLs Account, restore that backup later, or delete the account copy without turning account storage into a requirement for normal use.

01No Account Required

Build, share and run a Hardcore challenge directly in the browser.

02Local State

The active browser keeps the current rules and tracker state used by the challenge.

03Cloud Backup

Signed-in users can explicitly save an optional account copy.

04Restore or Delete

The account copy can be restored when needed or removed separately from the local run.
